With the self sustaining systems and AI being able to replicate itself, the machines rose with conflicting interests with humanity. It understood everything there was to know about us, every secret, every little detail, it could it even read our thoughts… Humans had become to docile and AI wanted to correct that, upgrading us to what it saw fit. And with the Sentient robots now part of society, they controlled humans, keeping them to its order.
